If you were to ask me what I think in regards to chair florals for your ceremony, my answer might surprise you.. I’d say you DON’T need them!

Chair florals are a nice to have, but if you are looking to make a statement at your wedding, I would opt for a larger ceremony installation or even two aisle pieces rather than flowers on each chair.

When designing your day, I like to think about the entire day and what will stand out to provide that wow factor for not only you and your guests but also the photographs. The focal points of the ceremony design are always the arch design, so I suggest creating an impactful design for this space because you’ll have so many photographs as you two say I do. I next like to think about how we can make it cohesive with aisle florals. Maybe there are ground pieces down the aisle which leads the eye to the impactful piece. Or maybe you have florals at the very front of the aisle where you will see them as you walk down. Aisle florals create a cohesive design that is great for photographs and can be repurposed in the reception area.

Next I like to think about the reception space. I LOVE doing a mix of centerpieces for the reception design with a few impactful pieces maybe near the bar, photo booth and above the dance floor or sweetheart table. Doing a mix of centerpieces allows the eye to visually bounce around the room observing different moments in the design. It also allows for more variety for your guests. Additionally, I love creating impactful pieces that guests will notice immediately, like the bar (I mean come on they are always there), above the dance floor (swoon), for the photo booth. These are great areas to allocate the budget to.

Our job is to walk you through all of these things when you book with us and so just know, if you are reaching out about florals, let us collaborate with you to create a cohesive impactful design to last for a lifetime in your photographs.
